Used this to carry sleeping bags and gear for a camping trip. Was able to fit 2 sleeping bags at once, or 1 sleeping bag plus bedding, clothes, and books. It rained and I can confirm the contents of the bag stayed mostly dry (better than a canvas bag at least). Love the color combination too. Just wish the straps were wide or softer because the nylon can be a bit rough when the bag is weighed down.This tote is wonderful! Every one who sees it comments about the size and probably wonders what I have in it. We have not had rain however the material matches my sons coat he wore to go skiing. It is perfect for carrying a change of clothes when I had to stay the night at my mom's house. So if you have small children I recommend this tote to you.
